About

Interested in having fan art created for you?

Email Katie at krobin1@ptd.net with your request. Once you reach out, we’ll have a few questions for you before we accept your request and pass it along to our artists to begin work on.

The best part: It won’t cost you money to hire an artist. It’s a trade. You gift an ecopy of your book to the artist in exchange for their time creating you a beautiful fan piece.

Typically once we have a request, we pass that request along to our artist society and if they are available to create a piece for you, they’ll let me know and I’ll set everything up. Our artists are not required to create pieces they aren’t interested in working on, but chances are that we’ll find you a good fit for your artwork request.

You can request a specific artist, but it will be up to them to decide if

they have the time to take you on as a client.

You can also leave your request open to more than one artist to create a piece for you if more than one would like to work on a project. We’ll let you know if this is the case before they begin work to make sure you are willing to give an ebook to both artists.

We will, of course, will keep you posted on the creation process.

Please remember that the creation of the artwork will take a little time. These artists are working around their other jobs to do this for you so please be kind and patient as you wait for your piece. All communication will go through me (Katie) during the initial process. The artists have agreed that they prefer all contact go through Reading Transforms for future art requests, but if the artist agrees, you’re welcome to thank them personally through social media. (Bonus: by going through Reading Transforms and not directly to the artist, you get some fun extras)

Some of our artists are available for interior work or design work on marketing materials. These are paid jobs and should be requested through Reading Transforms. We’re more than happy to help with creation of maps, postcards, cover interiors, etc.

We can’t wait to get started working with you on your fan art!

Email Katie at krobin1@ptd.net with your request.

If you are an artist who would like to join the team, please send us an email-we’d love to take a look at your work!
